Copenhagen Vikings win the IISHF Men European Cup 2026 in Biel/Bienne !
After an close group stage, Copenhagen Vikings and IVA Rhein Main Patriots advanced to the Gold Medal Game through two very different paths. Copenhagen Vikings finished at the top of their group, while IVA Rhein Main Patriots, to everyone's surprise, finished fourth in theirs and had to prove they deserved their place by fighting their way into the quarterfinals.
The final showcased inline skater hockey of the highest standard, but Copenhagen Vikings gave the defending champions no chance. Despite several attempts to get back into the game, IVA Rhein Main Patriots were unable to match a side fully determined to claim the European crown after a 24-year wait.
