As attachment you will get the updated Tournament Rules for the IISHF Men Challenge Cup 2026.
There was an error in the previously published Tournament Rules with contact information for the Technical Director (§9.3) Mr. Simon Price which has now been fixed.
2. No expansion of the IISHF Women European Cup 2026 from 6 to 8 teams
The IISHF Presidium has decided after consulting with the IISHF Working Group on Title Events (chaired by Marco Eicher from Switzerland) that if an expansion of the number of the participating teams in the IISHF Women European Cup 2026 from 6 to 8 teams would negatively impact the integrity of the international federation's work or the overall quality of the event, we fully support sticking to the original plan. We agree that, under these circumstances, the Women’s European Cup should proceed with the planned 6 teams".
The IISHF Women European Cup 2026 taking place on 21-23 August 2026 in Ternitz, Austria is a joint championships with the IISHF U19 European Championships.
