Road to lifting the cup
It’s been a few years now since having a host for the IISHF Veterans Cup, and this year SHC Rossemaison stepped up to host once more. With 10 teams from 5 different countries we knew we were going to be in for some great hockey, we just didn’t know how great it would be.
The two teams reaching the final: Duisburg Ducks and HC Laupersdorf.
Duisburg Ducks only allowing 6 goals in 4 games topped their group and had rested legs going into the semi final on Sunday. With a commanding 4–1 lead in the game against Essen they thought the game was all sewn up. However, Essen fought back, tying 4–4 with 3 minutes to go. Ducks regained the lead 5–4, and Essen’s last-second shot was beaten by the buzzer, sending Ducks into the final.
The second semi final saw HC Laupersdorf and SHC Rossemaison in a hard-fought back and forth game. It ended 2–2 in regulation, forcing 3-on-3 overtime. With 2:09 left, Laupersdorf intercepted a pass and scored on a 2-on-1 break, propelling themselves into the final.
The final was much different from the semis. Ducks, with a shorter bench, were outpaced by Laupersdorf, who took an early lead and never looked back, winning 5–1.

2. Revised version of Time Schedule for IISHF Women European Cup 2025 and IISHF U19 European Championships 2025
Please find attached a revised version of the Time Schedule for the IISHF Women European Cup and IISHF U19 European Championships taking place in Ternitz, Austria.
The following changes are made (marked in yellow):
- Game 35: Teams should be Loser Game 31 (U19) vs Loser Game 32 (U19).
- Game 37: Teams should be Winner Game 31 (U19) vs Winner Game 32 (U19).
