3.  IISHF Men Challenge Cup 2025 Results

Road to lifting the cup.

IHC Malcantone, defending Challenge Cup winners from 2024 not winning their group, they took the long road to the final having to compete in a qualification semi final against against host Moskito Essen in a hard fought battle, then facing the might of Samurai Iserlohn.

SHC Buix had an easier route topping their group and going direct to the semi final against Duisburg Ducks winning a tight game by 3 - 2.

Eventually, the two rivals met in the final SHC Buix took an early and commanding lead with three goals in the first period. Two of which in just over a minute apart...

The second period saw more of the same with the defending champions tired from their difficult route, unable to come back.

The final result ended SHC Buix 6, IHC Malcantone 0
