This CL contains important information for the 2022 Women European Cup, the 2022 IISHF Annual General Meeting 2022, the Annual NMA Reporting due on 15.01.2022 as well as the cancellation of the 2022 Veterans European Cup.
1. IISHF Women European Cup 2022
The IISHF Presidium has decided that Gentofte Rollerskating Club (Denmark) will host the IISHF Women European Cup 2022. The event will take place with 8 teams in Gentofte (Denmark) as sanctioned by the IISHF Presidium scheduled to take place on 20-22.05.2022 (with games Saturday+Sunday) in Gentofte (Denmark). However please note that the hosting club has offered to play games on Friday+Saturday with a following Players Party on Saturday evening. After the participating has been fixed (after 15.12.2021) the participating teams can/will be asked via their NMA if they would prefer games Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday.
2. No IISHF Veterans European Cup 2022
There were no applications for the IISHF Veterans European Cip within the deadline on 30. November 2021 so the IISHF Presidium has decided that there will be no IISHF Veterans European Cup 2022. We hope that this great IISHF Title Event will return again in 2023.
3. IISHF Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022 and Working Meeting 2022 as a virtual meeting
After consulting with the member countries (NMA’s) as mentioned in the IISHF Communication Letter 2021-21 the IISHF Presidium has decided that the AGM 2022 (and the Working Meeting 2022) that was planned to take place in Tel Aviv (Israel) on 26-27.02.2022 will take place as a virtual meeting (video conference) on the same two days.

- The following 5 NMAs (Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, India and Switzerland) voted for non-presence AGM
- The following 3 NMAs (Austria, Russia and Ukraine) voted for presence AGM
Thus IISHF Presidium has decided to host the 2022 IISHF Working Meeting and 2022 AGM as non- presence meeting.
The decision has been necessary due to the current development of the COVID-19 virus where it’s very uncertain if we can travel anywhere in the end of February 2022 and host a normal physical AGM meeting.
This is unfortunately the second year in a row that we have to postpone the physical AGM in Israel and replace it with a virtual meeting. Hopefully we can return to Israel in 2023.
4. Details of AGM 2022 and Working Meeting 2022
According to §11.4 IISHF Constitution we officially announce that the next Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022 has been fixed as follows:
Date: Sunday 27.02.2022
Place: Virtual Meeting - Video Conference (ZOOM or another webinar tool)
Time: 09.30 AM (Central European Time). Please note the time difference is an issue now.
So the meeting will start 30 minutes later than the normal starting time.
We also officially announce that the next Working Meeting 2022 has been fixed as follows:
Date: Saturday 26.02.2022
Place: Virtual Meeting - Video Conference (ZOOM or another webinar tool)
Time: 09.30 AM (Central European Time). Please note the time difference is an issue now.
So the meeting will start 30 minutes later than the normal starting time.
5. Number of teams to be reported to IISHF – NMA reporting.
We kindly remind all National Member Associations (NMAs) that the deadline to send us in reference to article §11.12 and §11.13 IISHF Constitution is until 15.01.2022 to IISHF headquarters (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.):
- How many inline skater hockey teams shall be registered in that country for the current year
- A detailed team list for all age groups with the name of all registered clubs and teams for the current
Attached please find the Excel file: “IISHF Annual NMA Reporting” which should be used for the feedback. This template has been developed in accordance with the parameters approved at the IISHF AGM 2020 in Moscow. There are four (4) sheets in the Excel file: Summary, Data, Explanations and Backend. Please read first the sheet “Explanations”. The reporting is done by editing the work sheets “Data” and “Summary” and only in the cells that unlocked for editing. Certain tabulations are conducted automatically and the respective cells are, therefore, blocked for manual editing. The sheet “Backend” is not to be used in the reporting as such (it’s for internal use).
In addition to the mandatory reporting of clubs and teams by 15.01.2022 we would like to kindly ask you to provide the information requested on rinks, players, referees and officials.
