This CL contains a final call for the submission of an hosting application for the 2022 Women European Cup and the 2022 Veterans European Cup as well as several NMA feedback deadlines on a) the AGM 2022, b) 2021 national championship placements, c) participation of club and national teams in the European Cups and European Championships 2022.
1. IISHF Title Events Applications for remaining IISHF Title Events 2022
As mentioned in the IISHF Communication Letter 2021-19 published on 04.10.2021 and 2022-20 published on 19.10.2021 for the following IISHF Title Events 2022 no formal IISHF application form has yet been received:
- Women European Cup 2022
- Veterans European Cup 2022
Thus we hereby officially announce that according to point 12.1 IISHF Constitution the IISHF Presidium has now imposed the following final official deadline for all NMAs to inform all their clubs:
- information about above both open Title Events 2022
- to inform their clubs about the deadline 30.11.2021 for applications of the above two open Title Events 2022
- to inform their clubs that without applications until the end of November 2021 the above Title Events 2022 will definitely not take
The IISHF National Member Associations that took part in the two IISHF Title Events in 2021 mentioned (Austria, Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands) are also requested (as official deadline according to point 12.1 IISHF Constitution) to provide the IISHF Presidium until 15.11.2021 a copy of their website publication (or other way of information accordingly sent to their clubs).
2. IISHF Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2022
As decided at the AGM 2021 the AGM 2022 will take place in Tel Aviv (Israel) from 26-27.02.2022. Due to the current Covid 19 coronavirus situation the IISHF Presidium in accordance with point 12.1 of the IISHF Constitution imposed 30.11.2021 as the official deadline for all NMAs to inform IISHF if they are ready to go to the AGM 2022 in Israel. As of today this includes for all NMA delegates the requirement of being fully vaccinated during the 6 months prior to the AGM as well as the provision of negative PCR tests taken shortly prior to arrival and immediately upon arrival in Israel. Please respond to the IISHF Presidium via email with a clear YES or NO. If the majority votes YES the AGM 2022 will be conducted in Israel. If the majority votes NO then the AGM will be conducted virtual alike the AGM 2021. No reply until 30.11.2021 will be the same as accepting a decision by the IISHF Presidium.
3. Deadline for NMA team feedback 2021
According to IISHF Regulations §18.13 each National Member Association must inform the IISHF
latest on the 15.12.2021 of each year (official deadline according to article 3.7 IISHF Regulations)
- for Teams in the age category of U19, U16, U13 the Team names, contact person, full team list (including gender, licence number and birth year and contact address (e-mail) of the
- National Champion
- National Vice Champion (as possible Back-Up
- Third Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
- Fourth Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
- Fifth Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
- Any Host with Wild Card
- for Men and Women Teams the Team names, contact person and contact address (email) of the:
- National Champion
- National Vice Champion (as possible Back-Up)
- Third Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
- Fourth Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
- Fifth Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
- the five eligible teams for the Men Challenge Cup
- Defending European Cup Title Holder (only Men European Cup, Women European Cup and Veterans European Cup)
- Any Host with Wild Card
- for the National Teams names, contact person and contact address (e-mail) of each national
National Member Associations not giving information according to article 18.1 a) and/or article 18.1
- b) and/or article 18.1. c) IISHF Regulations until the deadline 15.12.2021 will get a fine according to article 3.7 IISHF Regulations and also lose their right to take part with teams at the relevant European
4. Deadline to confirm participation in IISHF European Cups 2022
Regarding the European Cups (Club Teams) according to articles 18.1 and 18.3 of the IISHF Regulations all Teams must confirm within three (3) weeks upon request by IISHF Communication Letter if they will officially take part. Each confirmation must be given and signed by the relevant National Member Association on the “IISHF Title Event Confirmation Sheet” provided by the IISHF
- please find it attached to this Communication National Member Associations not returning the “IISHF Title Event Confirmation Sheet” or not giving the requested feedback within the 3-weeks deadline will get a fine for each missing team feedback according to article 3.7 IISHF Regulations and the relevant team also loses their right to take part at this European Cup.
The need for feedback also apply for all National Vice Champions 2021, Defending Champions, Wild Card Teams, Host Teams and Backup Teams (a total of minimum 5 teams if fewer teams please report - that there is no extra team) who might qualify for 2022. Please ensure that the information about the participation 2022 of all your Club Teams will be given to IISHF (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). The normal 3 weeks deadline has been extended by the IISHF Presidium to 15.12.2021.
Deadline for reply is then 15th December 2021 (3 weeks extended). In the event of a National Champion declining the place, the place will in the first instance be offered to that National Member Associations Vice Champion if they do not already have a place.

- Women European Cup (only applicable if the event will take place)
- Veterans European Cup (only applicable if the event will take place)
- U19 European Cup
- U16 European Cup
- U13 European Cup
Please inform your relevant teams immediately about the ranking.
5. Deadline to confirm participation in IISHF European Championships 2022
Regarding the European Championships (National Teams) according to article 18.12 IISHF Regulations each National Member Association must confirm to IISHF within three (3) weeks after the announcement if they will officially take part. Please ensure that the final information about the participation 2022 of your Men and U19 National Team will be given to IISHF (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). The normal 3 weeks deadline has been extended by the IISHF Presidium to 15.12.2021.
Deadline for reply is then 15th December 2021 (3 weeks extended).
