1. Suspension for Poland has been lifted
As of May 23, 2012 the suspension for Poland has been lifted since they have paid their outstanding payment to IISHF. Thus with immediate effect from May 23, 2012 all Polish teams are allowed again to take part at international events.
In reference the IISHF Communication Letter 2012-08 now only Pakistan and Canada are suspended and no team from those countries shall be allowed to take part at any international (A and/or B) event until their payments have been settled.
2. Tournament Rules for the U19 European Cup
As attachment you will get the final TOURNAMENT RULES and final TIME SCHEDULE of the following European Cup 2012.
U19/Junior European Cup 2012 in Delémont (Switzerland).
Please transfer these documents a.s.a.p. to your teams participating. In case of any questions to accommodation and organisation, the teams shall please contact the relevant Event Directors as mentioned in the Tournament Rules.
3. Deadline for Teams participating in the U19 European Cup
We hereby officially announce that according to point 12.1 IISHF Constitution (2012 version) the IISHF Presidium has imposed an official deadline for all Teams participating in the U19 European Cup 2012 to send the following material. Deadline is set to 4 weeks before each event.
a) an actual team photo
b) victories / successes of the last 10 years for the relevant team (age group) in English language and a short story (history) of the team
c) players list with names and shirt numbers of all players.
d) team logo
Until 21.07.2012 for the U19 Junior European Cup 2012 in Delémont, Switzerland.
Complete information has to be sent by e-mail to the hosting club with a copy (!!) to the IISHF President Erik Sommer (

sommer.erik@gmail.com). Failure will result to fixed fines (50 EUR per week of delay).
Please also pay attention that each National Member Association has to send not later than two weeks before each European Cup the completed and approved International Team Certificate (ITC) of all its teams to IISHF President Erik Sommer (
esommer@iishf.com or
sommer.erik@gmail.com).
4. Jean-Daniel Muller, IISHF Vice-President on vacation June 1-26, 2012
