Revised Tournament Rules for the Men European Championships 2018, IISHF Title Events 2019 approved, IISHF Title Applications for remaining IISHF Title Events 2019, IISHF Working Meeting 2019.
1. Revised Tournament Rules for the Men European Championships 2018
Attached please find the revised IISHF Tournament Rules for the Men European Championships on 22-25 November 2018 in Rossemasion (Switzerland) with correct reference to the revised Time Schedule for 6 teams rather than 7 teams. In addition the text in point 6.1 has been corrected.

Please transfer this document a.s.a.p. to your Men National team participating. In case of any questions to accommodation and organisation, the teams shall please contact the relevant Event Director as mentioned in the Tournament Rules.

2. IISHF Title Events 2019 approved
With the IISHF Communication Letter 2018-21 (as of 15 August 2018) IISHF had set a deadline of 15 October 2018 to apply for the hosting of all IISHF Title Events 2019 except the U13 European Cup 2019 where an application had already been received so for this event there was a separate deadline of 31 August 2018.

The announcement of the hosting of the U13 European Cup 2019 was then already done in the IISHF Communication Letter 2018-22 (as of 5 October 2018).

The IISHF Presidium has now checked all the applications received and is glad to officially announce as planned latest 30 October 2018 the following IISHF Title Events 2019:

- U16 European Cup hosted by SHC Rossemaison in Rossemaison (Switzerland) on 3-5 May 2019. This event is scheduled for 10 teams as a 2 day event for games Saturday and Sunday. However please note that the Managers Meeting (expected 5-6 PM) and Opening Ceremony (expected 6-7 PM) will take place Friday late afternoon/evening and this is mandatory for all teams. Practice sessions available Friday afternoon and it's possible for teams to play games Friday evening on an optional basis (not mandatory).
- Men Challenge Cup hosted by SHC Rockets Essen in Essen (Germany) on 24-26 May 2019. This event is scheduled for 10 teams as a 2 day event for games Saturday and Sunday. However please note that the Managers Meeting and Opening Ceremony (expected 6-6.45 PM) will take place Friday late afternoon/evening and this is mandatory for all teams. Practice sessions available Friday afternoon and it's possible for teams to play games Friday evening on an optional basis (not mandatory).
- U19 European Cup hosted by SHC Rolling Aventicum in Avenches (Switzerland) on 14-16 June 2019. This event is scheduled for 10 teams as a 2 day event for games Saturday and Sunday. However please note that the Managers Meeting and Opening Ceremony will take place Friday late afternoon/evening and this is mandatory for all teams. Practice sessions available Friday afternoon and it's possible for teams to play games Friday evening on an optional basis (not mandatory).
- U13 European Cup hosted by Crash Eagles Kaarst in Kaarst (Germany) on 21-23 June 2019. This event is scheduled for 10 teams as a 2 day event for games Saturday and Sunday. However please note that the Managers Meeting and Opening Ceremony (expected 7 PM) will take place Friday late afternoon/evening and this is mandatory for all teams. No practice sessions available Friday afternoon and it's not possible for teams to play games Friday evening for this event.
- Men European Cup hosted by SHC Giviseiz in Givisiez (Switzerland) on 27-30 June 2019. This event is scheduled for 12 teams as a 3 day event for games Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However please note that the Managers Meeting and Opening Ceremony will take place Thursday late afternoon/evening and this is mandatory for all teams. Practice sessions available Thursday afternoon.
- Veterans European Cup hosted by SHC Duisburg Ducks in Duisburg (Germany) on 5-7 July 2019. This event is scheduled for 10 teams as a 2 day event for games Saturday and Sunday. However please note that the Managers Meeting will take place Friday late afternoon/evening and this is mandatory for all teams. Practice sessions available Friday afternoon and it's possible for teams to play games Friday evening on an optional basis (not mandatory).
- Men European Championships hosted by Rødovre Red Devils in Rødovre (Denmark) on 24-27 October 2019. This event is scheduled for a minimum of 4 teams as a 3 day event for games Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However please note that the Managers Meeting and Opening Ceremony (expected 7 PM) will take place Thursday late afternoon/evening and this is mandatory for all teams. Practice sessions available Friday afternoon and it's possible for teams to play games Friday evening on an optional basis (not mandatory).

IISHF will inform all teams participating about the exact time for the Opening Ceremony and Managers Meeting after the official announcement of the IISHF Title Events 2019 according to §18.3 IISHF Regulations when the participating club teams have to officially confirm their participation in the European Cups and according to §18.11 IISHF Regulations when the participating National teams have to officially confirm their participation in the European Championships.

3. IISHF Title Events Applications for remaining IISHF Title Events 2019
For the following IISHF Title Events no applications have been received so they are still open for 2019:
- Women European Cup
- U19 European Championships

Thus we hereby officially announce that according to point 12.1 IISHF Constitution the IISHF Presidium has imposed a new extended official deadline for all IISHF National Member Associations to inform all their clubs:
- about all open Title Events 2019 (as above)
- to inform their clubs about the deadline 15 November 2018 for applications of the open Title Events 2019.
- to inform their clubs that without applications until 15 November 2018 that the relevant Title Events 2019 will not take place.
- that IISHF will announce the final listing of IISHF Title Events latest December 1, 2018.

The IISHF National Member Associations are also requested (as official deadline according to point 12.1 IISHF Constitution) to provide the IISHF Presidium until Saturday 3 November 2018 a copy of their website publication (or other way of information sent to the clubs).

4. IISHF Working Meeting
IISHF will have a working meeting for the IISHF Officials in order to evaluate the Title Events in 2018 and planning the activities for 2019. The meeting will take place in Düsseldorf (Germany) on 1-3 February 2019.
