Gentofte Ravens from Denmark won the final of the Women European Cup 2017 which was taking place in Rossemaison, Switzerland on August 18-20, 2017. Gentofte Ravens defended their title from 2016 where they won at home in Gentofte. In the final of this year Gentofte Ravens won 3-0 (1-0, 2-0) against the surprise team of the tournament Borehamwood Crusaders Queens from Great Britain.

Spreewölfe Berlin from Germany came third with a 3-2 (0-2, 2-0, 1-0) win in extra time against Crash Eagles Kaarst from Germany.

2. Social Media activity at the Women European Cup 2017
IISHF has planned Social Media activities at the upcoming Women European Cup 2017 taking place August 18-20, 2017 in Rossemaison, Switzerland conducted by Jay Blackburn from Great Britain who also did a similar job at the recent U19 European Cup in May 2017 also in Rossemaison.

Jay Blackburn will be present at the Managers Meeting on Friday August 18, 2017 where he will inform all the participating teams about all the practical details for the weekend. All participating teams will also been informed directly by the event IISHF Technical Director Carsten Arndt.

Attached please find the IISHF Social Media Schedule for the Women European Cup 2017.

Please note that the hosting club SHC Rossemaison in cooperation with Mustang TV has also planned livestreaming from the deciding games on Sunday August 20, 2017 similar to the service that they also provided at the U19 European Cup in May 2017.
