Switzerland came second in the event taking place in Opatija, Croatia on October 21-23, 2016
Germany won the Men European Championships in skaterhockey. In the final Germany won over Switzerland with 4-3 (1-0, 2-2, 0-1, 0-0, 1-0) after extra time and penalty shootout.

In the game for 3rd place Great Britain won 6-5 (3-2, 3-3) against Denmark. All game results listed below.
Other placements 5: Croatia, 6: Netherlands, 7: Austria and 8: Ukraine.

Fair Play Cup won by Austria.

The Men European Championships in skaterhockey took place in Opatija (www.visitopatija.com), Croatia on October 21-23, 2016. For the first time ever a total of 8 National teams took take part in this Title Event. Participating teams from the following countries: Austria, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Ukraine. It's the first time ever that Ukraine is participating in skaterhockey. The defending champion is Germany who won the last Men European Championships in September 2014 in Kaarst, Germany with a 7-6 win in extra time against Denmark.

From Saturday morning from the second game we used a Ipad livestreaming solution instead of the Platin TV livestreaming.

There was planned a livestreaming from all games of the event using the Platin TV setup. The livestreaming would be available under the following Youtube links:
