Great Britian came second. The event took place in Stegersbach, Austria on September 11-13, 2009.
Germany won a thrilling final 8-7 (1-2, 6-2, 1-3) over Great Britain. The deciding goal scored by Luca Linde with 1 minut and 4 seconds to go. Germany went from 1-2 to 4-2. Great Britain came back a tied up the game at 4-4. Germany came ahead again 7-4. Great Britian came back with 3 powerplay goals in the third period and tied up the game again at 7-7. Switzerland took third place by winning over the hometeam from Austria with 22-0 (9-0, 5-0, 8-0).

Germany won the groupplay with 9 points (lost only the last game to Switzerland). Great Britian came second with 8 points (winning both games over Switzerland). Switzerland placed third with 7 points (diden't lose any of its two games against Switzerland). Austria was fourth without any points.
