The U19 European Cup will be hosted by SHC Rossemaison on August 18-19, 2012 in Delémont, Switzerland. This is the same hosting club as in 2011. This time the tournament will take place on a 20 by 40 meter pitch on a synthetic floor inside an Icehockey rink.

Regarding the facilities we need to mention that 6 changing rooms have a shower. Otherwise, showers are located in a building 100 meters away from the venue (where the remaining changing rooms are located). The pitch is completely covered but the venue is not completely closed. With effect from 24.03.2012 the official IISHF announcement of the U19 European Cup 2012 has been done. The event is now listed on www.iishf.com. As attachment all NMA's now receive the IISHF Seeding Ranking List 2012 for the U19 European Cup with update as of today for the U19 European Cup 2012. In this list all teams (incl. Backup teams) are mentioned who are qualified to take part in title events 2012.

Regarding the European Cups (Club Teams) according to Point 18.2 IISHF Regulations each National Champion 2011 must take part in the European Cup 2012, unless they officially cancel their participation to the IISHF within three (3) weeks after the European Cup has been announced. The need for feedback also apply for all National Vice Champions 2011, Wild Card Teams, Host Teams and Backup Teams who might qualified for 2012 so please make sure that the final information about the participation 2012 of all your Club Teams as listed in the IISHF Seeding Ranking List will be given at latest within the next three weeks to IISHF (office@iishf.com) with copy to sommer.erik@gmail.com. Deadline for reply is 14.04.2012. In the event of a National Champion declining the place, the place will in the first instance be offered to that National Member Associations Vice-Champion if they do not already have a place.
